Skills
- Technical resource responsible for distributing software releases and Reference Files to the client production environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience of Windows Environment (XP, W2K) (7 to 10 years)
- Strong knowledge and experience of Software distribution concepts (Tivoli and SMS or SCCM an asset) (7 to 10 years)
- Intermediate knowledge of UNIX
- Intermediate knowledge and experience of scripting languages and methods (Perl preferably)
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with mainframe environment (XCOM, JCL, FTP, AS/400
Key Responsibilities
- Basic knowledge of Network Protocol (TCP/IP, DNS etc..)
- Basic knowledge of Remedy (an asset)
- Basic knowledge of Harvest environment (an asset)
- Intermediate knowledge and experience with remote troubleshooting tools (such as PSTools, remote desktop connections, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills is a must
- Willingness to work in 24/7 environment is a must
