Skills

• Expertise in one or more stacks of technology like J2EE / .NET / Ruby with an excellent understanding of SOA and Webservices.
• Relevant experience in working on projects which involve Enterprise Level Web-based application development.
• Awareness of the latest developments & trends in technology, and utilizing them appropriately while taking technology decisions.
• Strong coding capabilities and the ability to mentor fellow team members on coding and design related issues.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to conceptualize solutions. Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands-on coding will be an integral part of the daily responsibilities.
• Working closely with Business Analyst and clients to ensure that the system evolves to meet emerging business requirements.
• Using your communication skills to ensure that everyone in the team understands where the solution is heading and the road-map to get there.
• For relatively smaller enterprise level projects, you are expected to be the Architect. For larger projects, you are expected to work closely with the Senior Architect to come up with the architecture and take it further.

• As a lead consultant you get to take key technology decisions during various stages on a project.
• You work closely with fellow developers to ensure that the different parts of a solution work together well and appropriate technology choices are made.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that teams are formed and tasks are allocated in a way that reduces dependencies between different streams of work.
