- Good understanding of embedded system and Real time system concepts, data structures and software development cycle.
- Good understanding of low level device programming.
- Proficient in C programming language
- Knowledge and good understanding of low level peripheral device drivers : Must have experience in one or more of the following areas - UART, I2C, SPI, Memory controllers , USB, ADC, DAC, Power management, DMA, timer management.
- Good knowledge and experience of Microcontrollers / ASIC’s, usage of emulators, debuggers , logic analyzers.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Good Analytical and problem solving skills
- Autonomous, creative and pro-active team player
- Hands-on experience with Microcontroller firmware design / development.
- Hands on experience with low level programming in C / Assembly languages

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for design, development and support of device drivers / firmware for
Microcontroller’s of different company’s like ATMEL, Microchip etc. - This selection will be based on chip peripherals ,on customer and on standards
specifications. - To participate in the integration and validation in the embedded software.
